Book & Lyrics
Titus Hoffmann translated and directed the highly acclaimed German-language premiere of "Next To Normal". Based on his own idea he wrote the book for the Fendrich musical "I am from Austria", which was performed to packed houses in Vienna, Osaka and Tokyo. He translated Green Days Punk Rockmusical "American Idiot" into German and wrote the lyrics to the long-running Hit Show "Heisse Zeiten - Hot Flush - The Menopause Revue" and "Wir sind mal kurz Weg - The Revue of the male Midlifecrisis". A.o. he was responsible as resident director and co-translator for the German premiere of Mel Brooks Broadway- Blockbuster "The Producers" at Viennas' Ronacher and at Berlins' Admiralspalast. "SCHOLL - The Bud of the White Rose" was nominated in 7 categories for the German Musical Theatre Award - (amongst them for best book, best direction and best musical).

Composition
For more than 30 years, Thomas Borchert has been one of the most successful and versatile musical actors on German and international stages. He played leading roles in Cats, Les Misérables, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Elisabeth, Buddy, Rocky Horror Show, Jekyll & Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Dance of the Vampires, Dracula, Count of Monte Cristo (by Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn written especially for him) and Next To Normal. In addition to a number of solo programs, he has also released numerous albums of his own music as a singer-songwriter. With "SCHOLL - The Bud of the White Rose" he presents his first musical composition. More info
