Raphael Binde appears as Frank Abagnale Junior in the Swiss premiere of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and created the role of the avatar Optimus in the world premiere of the gaming musical MINDCRAFT at the Salzburg State Theatre. At the Kleines Theater Haar near Munich, he plays Til in WHEN PETALS FALL (Wenn Rosenblätter fallen). During his studies—which he completed in 2025 with a master’s degree from the Theaterakademie August Everding—Raphael performed at Munich’s Prinzregententheater as Antonio in the German-language premiere of 12TH NIGHT, as the Jester in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, as Peter in ANDERSEN – A FAIRYTALE LIFE, and as one of the Jesus People in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Nuremberg State Theatre. He completed his degree by playing the title role in the Kunze/Levay musical MOZART!, directed by Andreas Gergen. Together with Laura Oswald and Titus Hoffmann, he also wrote ELISE AND PAUL – A Musical Dramedy!, in which he portrayed Prince Paul von Thurn und Taxis. The two-person show has already been performed at the Deutsches Theater Munich, the Kleines Theater Haar, and the Vindobona Theater in Vienna. In early 2026, he will also play D'Artagnan in THE THREE MUSKETEERS (Die 3 Musketiere) in the Silbersaal of the Deutsches Theater Munich and will appear as Gabe Goodman in the new production of NEXT TO NORMAL at the Theater Remscheid.
