Karolin is currently touring the German-speaking world as a soloist in THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW, following her role as walk-in Caterina & Moser in the world premiere of the musical KU'DAMM 59 at Berlin’s Theater des Westens. In 2023, she originated the role of Inge Scholl in the world premiere of SCHOLL – The Bud of the White Rose at the Stadttheater Fürth. For her portrayal of Anna in the world premiere of SWING STREET, she received the German Musical Theater Awardas Best Leading Actress. In MOZART! at Vienna’s Raimund Theater, she appeared as Aloysia Weber, and portrayed Magda in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, including at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. Since 2018, she has performed as the Holy Spirit in the world premiere of the choral musical MARTIN LUTHER KING, touring across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She has also toured Germany as part of THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW. On the Walensee Stage in Switzerland, she played Mathilde in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Born in Hanau, Karolin completed her musical theatre training at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. One of her first professional roles was Maria Rainer in the musical classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC, which she performed at the Staatstheater Kassel and later at the Stadttheater Meiningen. At the MUT Competition, she won the First Jury Prize, as well as the Audience Award and Media Prize. Karolin is also active as a singer-songwriter, having released her debut album KARO! UNLOCKED!.
